In the Fall of 2014, the Smoky Mountain Math Teachers' Circle began bringing together math teachers from the 7 westernmost counties of North Carolina. Thanks to a sizable foundation grant, we now have our sights on spreading the Math Teacher's Circle gospel east and forming the North Carolina Network of Math Teacher's Circles. This talk will discuss what a Math Teacher's Circle is, the critical role that two-year college math teachers can play in these circles, and the steps we are taking to make the NC Network a reality.
