The Department of Statistics at NCSU has recently debuted several new online graduate programs. The department is proud to offer two graduate certificates and a master’s degree that may be earned completely online. A graduate certificate in Applied Statistics and Data Management is designed to provide training in statistical methods and the use of SAS software. Our Certificate in Statistics Education is designed for individuals who would like to teach statistics at the college or university level. Each certificate is composed of 12 graduate credit hours. The Master’s in Statistics is a full 30 hour graduate degree that has the same requirements as our on campus master’s program. These programs are designed for working professionals and students typically take two courses each semester. In this presentation we will give an overview of the curriculum of the program. We will also describe the application process, costs and scheduling.
